SlapKlatz to join The Europe Drum Show 2027

today12 June, 2026

Background

Founded in Denmark by drummer and entrepreneur Gunnar Kristiansen, SlapKlatz develops innovative sound control solutions for drummers.

The company is best known for its highly versatile gel drum dampers, designed to help drummers quickly control unwanted overtones and ringing while preserving the natural tone and feel of their instruments. The idea behind SlapKlatz began in 2009, when Gunnar started experimenting with different materials, shapes, sizes, and colours in search of a better damping solution. The result was a product that offered more flexibility and sound-shaping possibilities than existing alternatives, allowing drummers to fine-tune their sound in seconds.
