Two Brothers – One Dream
“It all started in 2009 when we were looking for a suitable Cajon. We found one or two, but none that met our sound expectations. We wanted a Cajon that sounded similar to a drum kit – a nice deep bass separated from the snare sound. Our search led us to various small Cajon manufacturers, where we were allowed to learn and try things out. We quickly started building Cajons ourselves to get closer to our vision of a modern Cajon. After 3 years of trying and exploring we were finally ready and we founded the PUR Cajon Manufaktur in Salzburg (2012).”
Since then, Pur Music have come a great deal closer to their vision of the perfect “Drum-Cajon”, and their journey is far from over. Development, improvement and experimentation are their daily companions and enrich their everyday Cajon life immensely. Their latest model “PUR Vision PRO Hi-Hat” is definitely the closest they have ever gotten to the sound of a real Drum set.
Every PUR Cajon is handmade and subject to strict quality and sound controls and they only use FSC certified woods from sustainable cultivation.
