Leander Widmoser is a professional drummer based in Munich, Germany. His career is marked by a steady commitment to his craft, positioning him as a valued contributor across diverse musical genres and settings.

His introduction to the drums came early, and he started playing at the age of five. This lifelong engagement with drumming motivated him to pursue formal musical studies, which ultimately led him to the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim. The academic environment provided him with a structured opportunity to refine his technique and expand his musical knowledge. During his time there, he studied with some highly regarded figures in contemporary drumming, including the esteemed director Udo Dahmen, groove specialist Jost Nickel, and modern player Anika Nilles. This comprehensive education was instrumental in preparing him for the varied demands of the music industry.

In his professional capacity, Leander has maintained a busy schedule of concerts and tours, collaborating with a wide array of well-known artists. His live performance credits demonstrate his broad adaptability, spanning from pop to German Schlager and hip-hop. He has toured and performed with artists such as the international soul-pop sensation Ray Dalton, the iconic German singer Marianne Rosenberg, the rock duo HE/RO, the pop artist Sophia, and the genre-crossing rapper WizTheMC, among others. On stage, his focus is on providing a dependable and musical rhythmic foundation that supports the artist’s vision.

In addition to his live work, Leander is heavily involved in recording projects. He operates his own professional studio, which is specifically designed for remote drum recordings. This facility allows him to efficiently produce and deliver high-quality drum tracks for producers and musicians around the world. By managing the recording process entirely in-house, he offers a flexible and reliable solution for remote collaboration, ensuring that the necessary rhythmic elements are captured with clarity and musicality.
